Wedding Ceilidhs
A ceilidh is a great way to start the evening entertainment at a wedding - straight after the 1st dance. It is great fun and a memorable way of getting everyone up and dancing, from young children to grandparents. There are several packages available for an evening with a varied entertainment package tailored to your specifications:
Ceilidh and Disco Combination
Our most popular package starts with a little background music whilst the evening guests arrive and assemble until the first dance. The Ceilidh then immediately follows with one or two sets of ceilidh dancing as required. The evening finishes with disco until midnight using the band's PA equipment and modern lighting effects. We welcome your own playlist and can take requests on the night.
Traditional Ceilidh
An evening of Scots style ceilidh, starting with an opening waltz or first dance followed by a mixture of ceilidh dances including The Gay Gordons, Dashing White Seargent, Strip the Willow, Swedish Masquerade and a Cumberland Reel up until 11:30pm.
Ceilidh and Covers band
Ceilidh Knights can provide packages to suit weddings where there is a need to meet a variety of musical tastes - something for everyone. The evening generally starts off with a Ceilidh, but then transforms into a Covers Band with the addition of electric guitar and both male and female vocalists.
In this video the Ceilidh is followed by our own Party Covers Band to finish the night off.

Other Wedding Music
In addition to the ceilidh band North East Soiree can provide music throughout the whole wedding day with for example, a String Quartet for the ceremony and drinks reception or gentle background music during the wedding breakfast. This is co-ordinated through North East Soiree and discounts are available to provide a full entertainment package throughout the day.
